Injection day one

The day of starting to inject myself was the next day. A Saturday, which meant I wasn’t in a mad rush to get my little boy up and off to grandmas whilst trying to make myself look presentable for work as is the usual weekday mêlée. I was relaxed and set out the dose in syringe before injecting it into my tummy (where I have ample padding). I was delighted and relieved it didn’t hurt or even bruise. It was going to be ok.

Side effects from these first stage drugs must be different for everyone. I have been feeling hot, fatigued and feeling a slight headache during the afternoons. All things I can live with – I kind of feel pre-menstrual most of the day.

Things are getting really close to all happening. This is really exciting! I have my first scan next week before the next stage of injections begin.
